Ready to Find Your Aircraft?

Whether you're ready to buy or just starting to explore — reach out. We're here to answer every question and help you find the right Bristell.

We got you covered

All the A's
for your Q's.

Q: How do I start the buying process?

Reach out through our contact form or book a call directly. Tell us which model interests you and what you're looking for — we'll take it from there. No automated responses, no runaround. You'll hear from us personally.

Q: Can I fly a Bristell before I decide to buy?

Yes — and we recommend it. Golden Wings operates a Bristell NG5 in our own fleet specifically for demo flights. You'll get in the cockpit, fly the aircraft, and know exactly what you're buying before you commit to anything.

Q: How long does delivery take after I place an order?

Typically between 6 and 12 months from order confirmation, depending on the model and your configuration. Some orders have been fulfilled in as little as 5 months; more complex builds can take up to 15. We keep you informed throughout the entire production process.

Q: Do you accept trade-ins?

Yes. We accept trade-ins and apply the value toward your new Bristell. Bring us what you have and we'll make it a straightforward part of the deal.

Q: Do I need to visit in person to buy?

Not necessarily. We handle many purchases remotely — from initial inquiry through configuration, paperwork, and delivery logistics. That said, we strongly recommend a demo flight if you can make it. It changes everything.

Q: Can Golden Wings help with aircraft registration and import paperwork?

Yes. We guide you through FAA registration, any required import documentation, and airworthiness processes. If you're purchasing from outside the U.S., we have experience navigating cross-border logistics and can coordinate with your local authority.

Q: Do you offer flight training?

Golden Wings has partnered with Lumina Aviation to offer flight training alongside our dealership services. Whether you're building hours toward a demo flight or working toward your certificate, we can connect you with the right program.

Q: Which Bristell model is right for me?

It depends on how and where you fly. The B23 is the choice for pilots who want CS-23 certified performance, IFR capability, and maximum range. The B23 Mosaic is for Sport Pilots who want serious performance under the new MOSAIC rules — 161 HP turbo, 146 KTAS, no Private Pilot certificate required. The Classic suits VFR touring and recreational use. The RG is for pilots who prioritize speed and long-range efficiency. The B8 offers exceptional visibility in a high-wing configuration. Not sure? Tell us how you fly and we'll help you narrow it down.

Q: What's the difference between the B23 and the Classic?

The B23 is Bristell's fully certified aircraft (EASA CS-23 / FAA FAR-23) — built to airline-grade standards, eligible for IFR operations, and designed for serious cross-country and touring use. The Classic is an ultralight/LSA model: lighter, more affordable, and ideal for VFR pilots. Both share the same 130 cm cockpit and all-metal construction.

Q: What's the difference between the B23 and the B23 Mosaic?

Both are all-metal Bristell aircraft with the same 130 cm cockpit and Garmin G3X Touch avionics. The B23 holds EASA CS-23 / FAA FAR-23 type certification — built to airline-grade standards, requiring at least a Private Pilot certificate. The B23 Mosaic is certified under the FAA MOSAIC LSA framework, which means Sport Pilots can fly it. It also comes with the 161 HP Rotax 916 iS turbo as standard, giving it 146 KTAS cruise and 600 NM range.

Q: How many Bristell aircraft have been produced?

Over 1,100 aircraft have been delivered worldwide. BRM Aero produces 110+ aircraft per year at their factory in Kunovice, Czech Republic — making Bristell one of the most actively produced light aircraft in the world.

Q: Is the Bristell an all-metal aircraft?

Yes. All Bristell models are built with all-metal construction throughout — aluminum airframe with composite fairings. This contributes to long-term durability, repairability, and resale value compared to fully composite designs.

Q: How much can I customize my aircraft?

Extensively. Every Bristell we sell is configured to your specifications — exterior color, interior materials, avionics suite, engine variant, propeller, fuel tank size, and landing gear configuration. You work directly with us, and we work directly with the factory.

Q: Which engine options are available?

Depending on the model: Rotax 912 ULS (100 HP), Rotax 912 iS (100 HP, fuel injected), Rotax 915 iSc (141 HP, turbocharged), or Rotax 916 iSc (160 HP, turbocharged). The right choice depends on your altitude, range needs, and how you like to fly — we'll walk you through the trade-offs.

Q: Can I get IFR capability?

Yes, on select models. The B23-915 IFR variant is factory-built for instrument flight. We can configure a full IFR avionics suite with dual Garmin G3X Touch screens, GNS navigator, and autopilot. Contact us to discuss what your specific operation requires.

Q: What avionics come standard?

Standard avionics on the B23 include dual Garmin G3X Touch with Synthetic Vision, Garmin GNC 255 NAV/COM, Garmin GTX 345 ADS-B transponder, and Garmin GMC 507 autopilot with LEVEL button. The full suite is configurable — we can spec it to your exact requirements.

Q: Can I add a BRS ballistic parachute?

Yes — BRS (Ballistic Recovery System) is available as standard or optional depending on the model. The B23 and B23 Turbo include it as part of the standard safety package. We strongly recommend it and can advise on the options.

Q: What is the price range for a new Bristell?

Starting prices: Classic from $156,000 · RG from $205,000 · B23 Mosaic from $248,000 · TDO from $300,000 · B8 from $300,000 · B23 from $386,000 · B23 Turbo from $386,000 · Energic H55 from $499,000. All pricing is configuration-dependent — contact us for an accurate quote on your specific build.

Q: Is financing available?

Yes. Financing programs are available with competitive interest rates, flexible repayment terms, and low down payment options. We can help you structure a proposal — typically finalized within a few weeks of inquiry. Contact us to get the conversation started.

Q: Are there any additional costs beyond the aircraft price?

Plan for registration fees, insurance, initial maintenance inspection, and any import duties if applicable. We'll give you a full cost breakdown upfront so there are no surprises at delivery.

Q: What warranty comes with a new Bristell?

Every new Bristell comes with a factory warranty covering manufacturing defects on the airframe and factory-installed systems. Engine warranty follows the Rotax terms (2,000-hour TBO).

Q: What happens after I take delivery?

Golden Wings stays your point of contact after the sale. For technical questions, service needs, spare parts, and documentation — you reach us directly. We also work with authorized Bristell service centers across the U.S. when local maintenance is needed.

Q: Do you offer maintenance services?

Yes. Golden Wings provides aircraft maintenance including oil changes, tune-ups, and 100-hour inspections. For urgent technical matters, BRM Aero also maintains 24/7 global support at +1 316 215 8651 or [email protected].

Q: How do I get spare parts?

Through us. Golden Wings has direct access to the Bristell factory parts supply. Most standard parts ship within days.

Q: What is the Rotax engine TBO?

All Rotax engines in the Bristell lineup have a 2,000-hour TBO (Time Between Overhaul). Rotax also offers an extended TBO program. We can walk you through the engine maintenance schedule and what to plan for.

Q: What certifications do Bristell aircraft carry?

The B23 holds EASA CS-23 Type Certificate (EASA-A-642-830) and FAA FAR-23 certification — one of the very few light sport aircraft to hold both. The Classic and RG are certified as Ultralight/LSA. The Energic is the world's first EASA CS-23 certified electric aircraft. All current models are MOSAIC-ready.

Q: What does MOSAIC-ready mean for me as a buyer?

MOSAIC is the FAA's updated regulatory framework for light aviation that significantly expands what Sport Pilots can fly — higher speeds, more passengers, night VFR, and more. A MOSAIC-ready Bristell is positioned to qualify under the new rules as they take effect, protecting the long-term value and utility of your investment.

Q: Can I fly a Bristell on a Sport Pilot certificate?

Yes — the Classic, RG, TDO, B8, and Energic are all eligible under the current Light Sport Aircraft rules, and will be MOSAIC-eligible as the new rules take effect. The B23 is certified under CS-23/FAR-23 and requires at least a Private Pilot certificate. Contact us and we'll match you to the right model for your certificate level.

Q: Is the Bristell suitable for night or IFR operations?

The B23 is Night VFR certified as standard, and the B23-915 IFR variant is equipped for full instrument flight. Other models can be configured for night operations with the appropriate avionics package. We'll advise based on your intended use.
